Unibind Thermal Binding uses a heat-activated adhesive in the spine of a wrap-around cover that adheres to your own custom inner sheets. Unibind covers come pre-folded with the thermal adhesive pre-applied for easy binding; there is no punching or clean up is required. You simply place your loose pages into a thermal binding cover, place the cover into the Unibind Binding Machine and the machine is automatically activated to heat and seal the adhesive to your sheets, creating an attractive finished book in just seconds. Unibind will prove to be the absolute easiest binding method you have ever used! In addition, covers and other supplies are available in a variety of styles and colors to meet your exact needs.

Unibind Equipment

Unibind Binding Machines offer the versatility you need. Choose from three different models: The UniBinder 120 for low-volume, the UniBinder 8.1 for mid-volume use and the UniBinder 8.2 for high-volume use. These Binding Systems let you edit your books without wasting a binding mechanism. Simply re-heat your bound book, replace any sheets necessary, and then move the book to the cooling rack to complete the bind. The Unbind Binding Machines are extremely simple to use: All you do is put your printed sheets into a Unibind Cover and set the cover on the heating rack. The machine automatically activates and an indicator light will turn green in about 90 seconds when the document is ready to be moved to the cooling rack

UniCover Flex Soft Covers -- A wrap-around cover, meaning that the spine and covers are attached to form a one-piece cover. Soft Covers feature flexible front and back covers attached to the heavy duty steel spine. These covers feature a clear view to your first and final sheets, letting you completely customize the look of your book. The steel spine attached to every Unibind Cover guarantees a solid and durable bind while the U-Channel ensures every sheet is bound tightly. They provide protection, enhance the color of images and add a professional appeal to all your documents.

UniCover Spines -- This durable steel spine can be used in pairing with any cover of your choosing, offering endless customizable opportunities. Choose from a variety of attractive Steel Back Spines ranging in sizes from 1mm (1/16") to 36mm (1 ½") and colors including Black, Dark Blue, White, Aluminum and Bordeaux.

UniCover Hard Covers -- Produce a perfectly bound hard back book in a just a few seconds. These steel-bound covers offer a high-quality leather-like finish to impress your key clients. The wrap-around hard cover not only offers a high-value appearance, but it offers great protection of the documents inside while the steel spine and heavy duty adhesive provide a tight bind. Available in half size for your 8.5” x 5.5” sheets, or letter size for you 8.5” x 11” sheets. Choose from a variety of colors including Aluminum (silver), Black, Dark Blue, Bordeaux and White. Also available with window cut-outs so you can see a portion of your first sheet on the front cover.
