Overview
Varn® total chrome-free fountain solution is a heavily pHix buffered and environmentally friendly gum and acid formula that is designed to run in the 0 ppm to 300 ppm of hardness range. This is one of the most flexible water ranges in the graphic arts industry. Total chrom free chemical solution has low VOC and contains no chrome in the make-up. It stimulates ink drying and will aid in the reduction of alcohol. Varn® total chrome free solution is used on metal plates and designed to run on conventional, bareback, and alcohol systems.

Description
Varn® Total Chrome Free Fountain Solution is a heavily buffered, environmentally friendly gum / acid formulation. This fountain solution is heavily buffered and designed to run in the 0 ppm through 300 ppm of hardness range–perhaps the most flexible water range in the graphic arts industry. Total Chrome Free has low VOC and contains no chrome. It stimulates ink drying and aids in reduction of alcohol. Primarily used on metal plates, Total Chrome Free is designed to run on conventional, bareback and alcohol systems.

Directions
Add 2 ozs. of Total Chrome Free fountain solution per gallon of water. Total Chrome Free fountain solution reduces surface tension of the fountain solution, allowing plate to be run with less water and ink. When installing Varn® Total Chrome Free fountain solution, clean dampening system thoroughly for best results.
