BRAND NEW COLORED FOIL AVAILABLE: MATTE TEAL
We are swooning hard over this new matte teal foil...it's elegant, soft shimmer combined with the winter turquoise color are to die for!
This gorgeous new foil is a part of our thermal toner reactive foil roll line. They bring the fun of foiling into the hands of anyone with a proper thermal laminator or foiling machine. No stamping dies or specialty machinery is needed; you just need a foil laminator (or you can use a foil fuser for high volume).
To use matte teal foils with a foil laminator, just cut off a piece of the foil and place it over your print. Then place your print into a pouch carrier and run it through your laminator. Once it comes out, give it just a few moments to cool off, then peel off the foil to reveal your new foiled design.
A couple things to note...
- Ink Type - You must use a dry toner. The foil won't stick to wax-based inks. So check your printer to find out what kind of ink it uses
- Heat Type - You can use a pouch laminator or foil fusing machine. Your foil laminator needs to reach high heat, a minimum of 300° F. Adjustable heat and speed are also a huge help. Some foils require more heat to properly adhere (like holographic). If using a laminator, you also need to be sure it can accept 10mil thick pouches (some only do 3-5); the carrier is thick and your laminator has to be able to accept it without damaging your unit.
- Paper Type - Foiling works best on smooth, uncoated paper stock. Textured paper or coated stock may not receive the foil.
