Description
These clear plastic binding covers feature pre-punching with rectangular holes along the binding edge, which pairs perfectly with your plastic binding combs as well as specialty spiral-o wire binding comb spines. These punched report covers feature 19 holes. Choose from several different sizes of punched cover pages, as well as different thicknesses. We offer 5 mil covers, 7 mil covers, and 10 mil covers. Although these are considered light weight, medium weight, and heavy weight book binding covers, they are all flexible. The glossy cover offers a crystal clear view of your first page, actually helping to enhance the color and contrast of your print.
Clear binding covers are often called clear acetate covers and glossy cover stock. They are our most popular binding cover for the front page of presentations and reports of all kinds, and pair perfectly with pre-punched vinyl back covers, linen back covers, and our pre-punched filler paper. Using pre-punched document binding cover stock is ideal for users who don't want to buy a binding punch machine; all you need is a closer.
If you are using these covers for plastic comb bindings, you need a comb spreader / opener. This tool will open the spines of your comb to allow you to place your pages onto the comb, and then close the spines around your book in one motion. If you are using them for spiral-o wire binding combs, you will need a wire closer. Most often, these also have a wire hanger which will hold your open wires in place while you place your pages onto the binding spine. Once all pages are on the wire, you close it around your book with the wire closing unit, finishing your bind.
