Would this cut through 3/8" polyurethane rubber?

The CR-50XP is designed for paper and plastic products. Since the XP is a pneumatic machine, it may work, but it would wear down the blades in the cutting unit a lot faster. If you would like, you can send a sample of what you are trying to cut and we can try it out on the machine for them. Please call us at (866)537-2244 if you're interested.

Can the corner rounding dies be re-sharpened?

Yes. Sharpening of your corner rounding dies will give them new life, improving the cut quality and accuracy. We do recommend also buying a new die at the same time that you have your die sharpened so that your production never has to stop, and you have a back-up.
