2' x 4' Rhino Cutting Mat (with Grid) (Discontinued)

These ultra heavy duty, premium cutting mats are perfect for professional users, industrial applications, printers, sign makers, framers, photographers, designers, and so much more. They are made of a 3/16" thick seamless self-healing polyethylene material that is meant to last. Included with the cutting mat is a grid underlay with 1" alignments so you can easily line up your items for accurate cuts. Perfect for your cutting table, these mats are meant to be stored flat and provide the perfect cutting surface for guillotine and hand held blades.

Important note: All the grids smaller than 4' x 8' have a numbered scale and 1" grid squares. The 4' x 8' and 4' x 2' sizes have the scale on all edges. The 4'x6' size has the scale on the top, bottom, and left edge (no scale on right). All sizes 4' x 10' or larger have the 1" grid squares, but no edge scale.

TIP: Large cutting mats like this are shipped rolled up. When you receive your mat, remove it from the packaging and place it curl-side down for about 24 hours. This mat will naturally relax after being flattened. To flatten the mat, avoid placing anything on top of it because doing so might cause damage and warping. 
 
To loosen the mat, stay away from using high heat sources like a heater, hair drier, or heat gun. It's more likely to cause warping or to heat a single area. You could even put it out on the driveway to get some light to apply even heat. It will remain flat after being loosened.
