Overview
The Drytac Dry Mount Film Mounting Tissue is a thin PVC carrier coated on both sides with an acrylic heat-activated adhesive to affix irregular surfaces. Each side of the film is protected with a high-quality, moisture-resistant paper release liner. The release paper is removed when the film is ready to be used, revealing a low initial tack adhesive that enables the print to be positioned without the use of a tacking iron. Before it is inserted into a heated press, the print can be repositioned at any time. This dry mount film is ideal for mounting onto canvas, rough or smooth substrates, and most other irregular surfaces that are similar to those of metals.
