What Size is a Mini Binder?

Mini binders, also called half size binders, hold a half-letter page size measuring 8.5 x 5.5 inches. They come in ring sizes including 0.5", 0.75", 1", 1.5", and 2", as well as in either a clearview vinyl or a poly plastic binder style.

Letter size, which are the more traditional binders, hold letter paper measuring 8.5 inches wide and 11 inches high. So these half size binders hold an exact half sheet, folded parallel to the short end. They fit easily in a briefcase or bag, and are much more portable than a larger binder. These small binders can be used in your home, your office, your school, your church, your group, and elsewhere.

Mini ring binders combine the benefit of a practical storage solution while also protecting and organizing your paper for quick reference. Pages in the binder can easily be removed or added, so editing your book is simple. Boosters on each end of the ring spine make for easy ring opening, without having to pull them apart and risk damaging their alignment.
