TIP: These mats must be unrolled and allowed to sit for at least a day or two before usage because they are shipped in rolls. As soon as you've unfolded the mat, lay it flat with the coiled side down to begin the loosening process. 
You shouldn't use any heavy objects or heat to try to lay the mat flat. Both will permanently deform and destroy the mat. The mat will lay flat after being exposed to air for a couple of days. It is suggested to place it outside under the sun to provide a steady heat source.
