This filter is also responsible for getting rid of odors, gases, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) coming from paints, fuels, cosmetics and refrigerants that cannot be captured by HEPA filters. Ideally, the activated carbon filter is replaced every 3 months for optimum results, this layer is replaced on the HEPA drum filter. The air purifier will let you know with its Change Indicator Light that it is time for the filter to be replaced. The dimension of this filter is made to fit all TruSens Large Air Purifiers.
