Cross-cut shredding offers a secure way of destroying data by cutting paper into confetti like pieces in sizes of 5/32" x 1 1/5" making it impossible to be put together again. This compact shredder works incredibly fast as it can shred up to 35 sheets at once at speeds of 22 feet per minute. The shredder also features an ECO Mode that saves energy by automatically switching into standby mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. The FD-8602 crosscut shredder can handle up to 37 sheets in one pass through its 16-inch-wide opening, at speeds of up to 22 feet per minute. The strip-cut model can shred up to 31 sheets at once, at speeds of up to 30 feet per minute, with a shred size of a quarter-inch-wide.
The user-friendly control panel features an LED load indicator to monitor the shredding capacity. Auto-reverse is activated if the shredder is overloaded, allowing for easy removal of sheets. Formax shredders include a lifetime-guaranteed high-density plastic waste bin and heat-treated steel blades, ensuring years of reliable performance and information security.
