The Formax FD 6308 Series Fully Automatic Folder/Inserter saves you time and money. Its user-friendly features include a 7" colour touchscreen control panel with graphics-based display and automatic paper and envelope presence sensors, a vertical output stacker that holds up to 500 filled envelopes, and a standard feeder that can be refilled on-the-fly with a capacity of up to 325 envelopes. AutoSet allows operators to load envelopes and documents before automatically adjusting all settings and storing up to 50 programmed jobs for instant recall. It can handle documents of various lengths and thicknesses at speeds of up to 3,800 pieces per hour and 40,000 pieces per month. An optional CIS Scanner reads OMR, 1D and 2D Barcodes, QR codes, and OCR printed anywhere on the page, allowing multiple-page documents to be automatically inserted, eliminating the time-consuming task of manually collating and inserting.

Operating the 6308 is simple and intuitive. Begin by loading the feeders. The standard size feeders can be linked for a total capacity of up to 975 sheets. Next, load the envelope feeder with up to 350 envelopes. The bottom feed system allows for envelopes to be loaded on the fly for continuous operation. With the feeders loaded, choose either automatic or the step-by-step job wizard to set up the mailing. The automatic setting will detect the document and envelope sizes and automatically fold and insert the mail pieces based on this information. Press the 1X button for a test piece. Check the piece to be sure it's correct. If the documents are accurately folded and inserted, press the Mail OK button, then press the Start button to begin processing. The job can be saved into memory for future use. Formax 6308 Series Inserters combine user-friendly features with high productivity and are ideal solutions for a growing office environment.
