The PowerTEC® 818 HD Hard Drive Punch is the perfect machine for destroying 2.5” and 3.5” hard drives. It features a powerful chain-driven motor for slip-free operation. It is NSA Approved for hard drive destruction, offering a security level of H-3 for the destruction of confidential digital media. This punch features a hardened nickel-plated device that renders hard drives unreadable. It features an illuminated chute opening with a transparent safety cover, as well as an LED keypad with easy-to-use controls for simple operation. For safety, the punch stops when the door or chute cover is opened, and the motor is thermally-protected against overheating. The 60dB noise level is quiet enough not to disrupt normal business operations, and the rubber shock mounts suspend the motor to reduce vibration.
