Expedited Shipping FAQs

With our nation-wide warehouses and partnerships, most orders are received within 2-4 business days of placing an order using UPS Ground standard shipping. But we know that sometimes you need your items faster...sometimes even as fast as the next morning. We're happy to offer expedited shipping alternatives to our standard shipping rates and transit times. Here are the most frequently asked questions about expedited shipments from Binding101.

How much does it cost to expedite my order?

Expedited shipments are going to be the actual UPS published rates, which means that we will need to do a few things to determine your cost to ship faster:

1. Product Info - We will need to know the specific items you are orders. This includes size, color, and quantity. We will check stock on each item to find the closest warehouse to you with the inventory available to fulfill your needs. This will also allow us to calculate the shipping weight. Sometimes we may need to reach out to our shipping department to determine how many boxes the order would ship in and get box dimensions as well.

2. Delivery Location - This will include the full delivery address, as well as whether it is shipping to a residential or commercial address.

3. Delivery Requirement - We will also ask when you need to have the items delivered and in-hand.

How fast can I get my order?

The expedited shipping options, as well as exact delivery times may vary depending on your delivery location. They are indicated in business days, which is Monday through Friday, excluding some holidays. These transit times are set by UPS, so we are at their mercy in regards to the available options. In general, however, the following options are standard for most UPS shipments within the USA:

• Ground / Standard - About 2-4 business days, on average. Transit time not guaranteed by UPS.
• 3 Day Select - End of day delivery.
• 2 Day Air® - End of day delivery
• 2 Day Air® AM - 10:30 AM delivery.
• Next Day Air® Saver - 3:00 PM delivery.
• Next Day Air® - 10:30 AM delivery.
• Next Day Air® Early - 8:00 AM delivery.
• Next Day Air® Saturday - 12:00 PM delivery on Saturday.
• Next Day Air® Early, Saturday - 9:00 AM delivery on Saturday.

Is expedited shipping worth the additional price?

This is completely dependent on your needs. We have some customers who will pay for overnight Saturday delivery because they need the items to complete a high-value order on-time, even when the price to ship is double their product total. Other customers immediately decide that standard ground shipping is acceptable once they see the price to ship faster. The best way to know if it is worth it for you is to determine how strict of a time frame you are really working with, and how urgent your need truly is.

How do I know I will receive my order on-time?

When you call us for an expedited quote, and to subsequently place your order, we handle every step of that order manually so that we can keep a close eye on the progress until UPS picks it up. This also ensures that the order will ship the same day (if possible) to ensure expected delivery dates are met.

In addition to our thorough handling of your order, UPS offers a guarantee for their expedited transit times. This is the information they publish on their website with regard to guaranteed delivery dates: Subject to the UPS Tariff/Terms and Conditions of Service (or the UPS Terms and Conditions effective in your jurisdiction) ('UPS Terms'), UPS guarantees on-schedule delivery of packages, shipped via UPS's services, that are listed as guaranteed, or will refund your transportation charges. Guaranteed service is not available in all areas and does not apply to packages subject to an Additional Handling or Large Package surcharge or exceeding size/weight limits. Scheduled business days and delivery schedules are revised occasionally due to changes in distribution and volume. Service to some remote areas also may require additional delivery days. Certain commodities and high value shipments may require additional transit time for customs clearance. Where is expedited shipping available?

We offer expedited shipping to all continental US locations, as well as some non-continental US locations, depending on the address we are delivering to. UPS determines where an item's transit time can be fast-tracked, and where it cannot. This excludes APO addresses and truck shipments, as some orders are too large to ship via UPS.
