The Preferred Pack TZ-889 is an automatic banding machine that is compatible with both paper and plastic banding rolls up to 2000' long. The automatic mode is activated when your material hits the sensor, providing high productivity and efficiency. You can also override the automation by using it in manual mode and activating the bundle process by pushing a button or tapping a foot pedal. These manual options give your operator more control, but can also slow down the output speed. This paper bander is easy to use, and no special training is needed. Just install the banding roll, set it to auto or manual model, and begin placing your materials onto the table, letting the bander automatically wrap and seal your materials.
A fairly small footprint, the TZ-889 measures about 28" W x 11.8" D x 28" H, so it can fit comfortably on most work surfaces. On average, users can produce bundles at speeds up to about 20 - 25 per minute, depending on the operator and mode. It can handle a maximum bundle height of 5.5", and a maximum width of 9.5". It is a great solution for frequent banding needs for stacks of brochures, small boxes, postcards, booklets, pamphlets, business cards, and much more. Description

With the Preferred Pack TZ-889 automatic banding machine, you can quickly and efficiently created banded bundles of paper materials, as well as seal boxes without damaging tape. Easy to use, there is no special training needed to operate this bander; just install a banding roll, set the mode to either automatic or manual, and place your material on the table. The TZ-889 will automatically tighten the band around your material, cut, and seal it with the perfect amount of tension. Remove your banded item from the table and it will automatically prepare a loop for your next item. In automatic mode, and depending on the bundle size, most users can achieve a speed of about 25 bundles per minute.
