Overview

These special Platinum-Lam lamination pouches are designed for the digital market, offering a premium and crystal clear front and a solid black backing, creating a solid border around your print to help it pop. These pouches seal at a lower melting point of just 185° F; much less than other pouches out there. This allows for more lamination opportunities for heat-sensitive items, including digitally printed graphics, inkjet papers, photo-based substrates, and more. It is specially engineered with UV inhibitors and light-fast technology that reduces graphic fade and protects against moisture. The Platinum-Lam adhesive enhances clarity and helps to preserve inks that may deteriorate at higher temperatures. These 9" x 11.5" pouches are perfect for 8.5" x 11" letter-size large prints. They are pre-sealed on one short end, and compatible with a huge variety of pouch laminating machines They are engineered for large format printers such as HP, Epson, Canon, Xerox, Colorspan, and Encad, and can increase the rigidity and strength of media. Protect your documents against moisture, handling, bending, and abrasion with Platinum-Lam laminating pouches.

Description

Platinum-Lam is ideally suited for Inkjet, toner, and other heat-sensitive prints. This unique laminate formulation was specially designed with UV inhibitors to protect against pre-mature fading from the sun. It also offers light-fast technology to seal at a low temperature of just 185 degrees Fahrenheit, so you don't have to risk damaging your heat-sensitive inks or materials by exposing them to high-temperatures just to laminate them. Platinum lamination is safe for use with digitally printed graphics, inkjet papers, photo-based substrates, and more. Inks that may deteriorate at high temperatures are safe with Platinum-Lam, the colors and densities preserved.

These particular laminating pouches have a stunning glossy finish on a 5 mil clear laminate front that brightens the vibrancy of colors and enhances contrast, allowing your print the chance to truly shine. The backing is a solid black 10 mil thick that creates a strong contrasted border to your print, helping it to stand out. The pouches themselves are 9 inches wide and 11.5 inches high, perfectly suited for prints measuring up to about 8.5" x 11" (letter size) or so. This leaves a 1/2" border around your print. Platinum-Lam black-backed film offers unmatched premium protection against bends, tears, scratches, spills, and sunlight.
