The MBM 1800S is an upgraded version of the 1500S that has all of the features users love, but with upgraded features and improved functionality for make for a more seamless and smooth paper folding machine. One of the new features is the ultrasonic double-feed sensor that more accurately indicated with a sheet is double-fed. Also new to the 1800S folding machine is the removable folding roller that allows for easy maintenance, the adjustable folding roller pressure for more versatility, and a spring loaded feed angle adjustment dial for smoother output. The top cover opens and closes in two easy steps with no screws or tools, and the user can now easily reach the air adjustment knob without disruption. It also features a new “silver top” metal sheet that allows for smoother paper run and better electric conductivity.
This automatic paper folding machine is a top-feed, adjustable air-suction system that is perfect for papers of all kinds, including digitally printed and coated stocks. Because the air feed doesn't use rollers to grab your sheets, you won't be left with any marks or streaks, even when using high gloss sheets. Six standard folds are pre-programmed, and a memory will hold up to 30 custom fold jobs that you program. A one-touch memory key makes for quick setup of these custom jobs and a touch pad control panel includes a four-digit counter with batch and total functions. A test button will run two sheets for your to inspect before running the entire job.
An automatic feed table ensures the optimum feed pressure, while an automatic exit conveyor belt and self-setting exit rollers guarantee smooth ejection of folded sheets. This combined with the extended exit tray make for a neat stack of finished sheets that are easy to handle. Single-sheet feeding is automatically maintained, even when using different paper weights or stocks. An audible tone and display alert will activate if the machine is being incorrectly operated, protecting it from damage. Skew and micr-adjustment dials let you perfectly set the pages for precise folds, while the all-metal construction makes this a durable and long-lasting paper folder.
