Combine the sturdy presentation of a gator foam board with vibrant glossy or soft matte lamination with these gator pouch boards. Gator pouch boards offer a heavier duty solution that is more resistant to dents, cuts, and punctures that traditional foamcore. These heavy duty boards have a hard Luxcell surface and are most popular for professional use. These 3/16" extra-sturdy mounting boards feature a laminate sheet attached to one side, that lets you mount and laminate your print in just one step. They feature a pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to the board and laminate interior, so all you have to do is place your sheet in-between the board and lamination, peel off the liner, and apply pressure to seal. You can easily achieve this without the need of an expensive machine, though we do recommend a roller or cold-capable laminating / mounting machine for larger sizes or high-production environments.

Pouch boards are one of our best-selling products in the laminating/mounting field. But what exactly is a pouch board? Pouch mounting boards are a cost-effective solution that not only saves you money, but also a lot of time. Instead of adding adhesive to your boards (step one), then mounting your print to the adhesive (step 2), and then applying a laminate to the print (step 3), pouchboards get it all done in one run. They are a convenient tool that essentially combines a mount board, a laminate pouch, and a mounting adhesive into one piece. These boards have a laminate sheet attached to one side, sealed to the short end of the board. Simply lift the laminate sheet to insert your print below, and then run the entire board through your mounting-capable cold roll lamination machine (or just use pressure of any kind). Because the adhesive is tacky and "cold", all it takes is pressure to mount and laminate in one step.

These particular pouch boards are a black color, made with a 3/16" thick black gatorboard, Gator mounting board is one of the strongest mounting boards on the market, featuring a dense core with unique Luxcell facings on each side that resist punctures and dents. They are very rigid, perfect for long-lasting displays for professionals. The adhesive on these boards is pressure-sensitive, which means you do not have to have a machine; just peel off the liner and press down to laminate and mount. They are available in either 18" x 24.5" or 24" x 36.5" sheets. The laminate is attached to one short end of one side of the board. It is available in either a high gloss or a soft matte.
