Matte/gloss laminating pouches offer the best of both worlds, with one side featuring our most popular glossy finish, and the other side featuring a smooth matted finish that reduces glare. These over-size pouches (most often called menu size) are 12 inches by 18 inches, perfect for the most common restaurant menu sizes; standard 11.5 inches wide, and 17.5 inches high. These 2-sided pouches completely encapsulate your documents providing protection from ripping, bending, and spills. While a plain piece of paper is subject to fairly fast deterioration and damage, a laminated page will last for years. They are a perfect medium-weight 5mil thick, offering a combination of flexibility and stability.

Each laminating pouch is made from two sheets of laminate, pre-sealed on one end — so when we say a pouch is 5 mil we mean each sheet is that thickness, resulting in a total pouch thickness of double that. Unlike some manufacturers who advertise 5 mil but deliver just 2.5 mil per sheet when measured with a micrometer, our pouches provide the full, stated thickness you can count on for durability and clarity.

Adhesive to Laminate Make-Up — Our laminating pouches are crafted from a precise combination of premium laminate and adhesive. Below is the breakdown of laminate-to-adhesive ratios for each side of our laminating pouches.

• 10 mil pouch: 6 mil laminate + 4 mil adhesive per side
• 7 mil pouch: 4 mil laminate + 3 mil adhesive per side
• 5 mil pouch: 3 mil laminate + 2 mil adhesive per side
• 3 mil pouch: 1.5 mil laminate + 1.5 mil adhesive per side
