The HIX B-250D is very portable making it easy to take to shows and operate. The transfer hold down blanket means transfers don't shift anymore. With a standard heat platen of 3-7/8"x 5-7/8", place transfers easily onto hats.
The B-250D cap press is a manual machine with a 3-7/8" x 5-7/8" heat platen. It features a digital timer (optional analog) that is adjustable up to 999 seconds and shows countdown on readout; then beeps after elapsed time and resets when the easy to open and close handle (with full range pressure adjustment) is raised. The calibrated digital temperature control is adjustable up to 450°F (232°C) and displays the current temperature.
The innovative bottom cap hold-down stretches the cap out holding it snug to the lower (rubber covered) platen. A PTFE blanket is suspended between the upper and lower platen to hold the transfer (or lettering) in place before the heating element is locked down.
The B-250D comes standard with a Golf size (3"x5-1/2") lower, rubber covered platen. It can be interchanged with the optional Youth size (2-3/4"x5-1/4") or Ball size (3-3/4"x5-7/8"). HIX can make custom platens as well.
