Overview
The Keencut Excalibur 3S is a new, innovative vertical board cutter that was designed to replace the discontinued Excalibur 1000X cutter. This premium cutting machine can either be mounted to your wall, or placed onto the optional free standing kit. It will cut through a huge variety of materials (such as foam board, corrugated plastic, polycarbonate, magnetic sheets, cast acrylic, and more) up to 63" long, and was manufactured in the UK to the highest quality standards. It is the perfect multi-substrate cutter for print and sign shops that need the versatility and cut length that it offers, but don't need all the bells and whistles (such as those available on the SteelTrak cutter).
The Excalibur 3S features self-lubricating bearings on both cutting heads for a smooth and clean cut, and a full-length material clamp will ensure your material is held perfectly still. A clear sight line strip shows you exactly where your boards will be cut, and a twin wheel cutting system helps reduce noise and dust. These features combine to create an outstanding accuracy-of-cut.
With the new and improved Exclaibur 3S cutter by Keencut, you can produce the highest quality of cut on a huge variety of items, all conveniently in the vertical-cut format. It is perfect for print shops of many sizes, and will work with a variety of replacement blades available. It comes with the standard Keencut warranty, which includes 5 year coverage of all parts (excluding blades, clamping strips, and cutting wheels) and a 20 year warranty on the bearings. Included for free with your purchases is 1 pack of medium duty blades (100 blades) and a wall mounting kit.

Description
The Excalibur 3S is a premium cutting machine with exceptional return on investment. It is ideal for those who do not need the heavy production features of the SteelTrak. The Excalibur 3S is suited to the regular cutting of light and medium-weight boards and can also cut tough materials including 3mm (3/32″) aluminum composite panels. Simple alignment and permanently mounted blades guarantee a fast and accurate finish. Its unique features will allow you to improve quality, reduce waste and increase productivity.
Excalibur 3S Features:
- • Allows quick access to 3 cutting tools attached to cutting head (composite twin wheel cutting head, standard utility blade, scoring blade for acrylic).
• Instantly switch tools - It takes no more than 2 seconds to select any of the cutting tools.
• Minimal maintenance - Incorporates sealed self-lube bearings. No special skills required for maintenance.
• Blades all cut on the same line.
• 13 mm (1/2") blade cutting capacity - Cuts materials up to 13 mm (1/2") thick
• Acrylic Scoring blade - Uses inexpensive standard utility blade for scoring acrylic up to 6mm thick.
• Counterbalance keeps the cut head in any position, so it doesn't drop down to the bottom.
• Auto blade disengagement- When using the lower cutting blade and scoring blade the cutting head. automatically disengages ready for the next cut.
• Turn-and-lock ready tools.
• Twin-wheel cutting system reduces noise and dust.
• Full length material clamp.
• Pressure sensitive clamp - The vertical cutter clamping system is unsurpassed it operates perpendicular to the material face and applies the right amount of pressure to grip ACP or lightweight foam centered board.

• Telescoping legs are adjustable for your optimal height.
• Single piece squaring arm - Manufactured from one piece of high grade aluminum extrusion for perfect horizontal alignment.

Keencut's unique full length pressure sensitive clamp provides maximum clamping to hold tough materials precisely for a perfect cut.
A silicone rubber cord gently holds delicate or printed surfaces without damage and the cycline strip achieves accuracy every time without the need for expensive, unpredictable lasers. All of the tools on the Excalibur 3S are permanently attached, ready for action and cut along the same line. The multiple tool head cuts or scores without the need for expensive specialist blades. For thicker materials, the automatic ratchet system provides incremental cutting for a quality finish. For the dust and noise free cutting of Dibond and MDF, select the twin-wheel cutter. This creates a safe, clean edge in a single pass.
