It has two punching throats: one for 4:1 pitch plastic coil spiral bindings, and another for plastic binding combs. The plastic binding comb pattern is also compatible with specialty 19-ring Spiral-O binding wires. Punching is accomplished manually using the handles, and each punch can handle about 20 sheets at time. On top of the machine is a manual comp opener to bind your plastic comb documents, and at the base is an electric coil inserter for your spiral bound documents. The only part not included is a wire closer, which is only needed is you choose to use the comb punch for Spiral-O wires too (a more unique option).
