Good news! There is no regular maintenance or service required for any Coverbind thermal binding machines.
The simplistic design and heavy duty construction were combined to eliminate the need for any regular maintenance or upkeep. You can picture the machines as having similar components as a household iron; the device heats and cools, and maintenance is not needed to keep this process performing normally.
We do have Coverbind certified technical support available if you encounter any problems with the machine, and 99.9% of the issues can be resolved over the phone. The only issues we have ever encountered are due to user error, and typically involve the operators handling the machine or covers too roughly, leading to bends or damage to the components they come in contact with. Treat the Coverbind machines with care, and no service or repairs will be needed.
And remember, if you purchased the Coverbind Accel Ultra thermal binder, you also receive a free Flex machine with it, which means that if you do encounter any issues that put the machine out of commission, the Flex can operate as a back-up to keep your job moving while the Ultra is repaired.
