Description
If you are ready for a fast, and simple-to-use solution to mounting prints to foam boards, then consider the Polar Cub mounting machines. Available in either 25" or 38" working widths, the Polar Cub is a manual mounting machine that is operated with a hand-crank on the side of the unit. It is compatible with a huge selection of mounting boards, including self-stick mounting boards, pouch boards that have a pre-applied pressure sensitive adhesive, self-stick mat boards, and plain mounting boards paired with pressure sensitive mounting adhesive.
If you are tired of mounting prints by hand, or using time-consuming and difficult-to-operate heated machines, then a Polar Cub manual mounting machine might be the perfect solution. These compact and durable little machines will save up to half the time of mounting by hand, and will accept foam boards, gator boards, and any other mounting board of your choice up to 1" thick. Since most boards are 3/16" thick, this allows for huge variety of even specialty applications. High-quality silicone rollers ensure consistent pressure and professional results, every time. Entry and exit feed tables also support the boards so you don't have to, and can be folded up for compact storage.
The Polar Cub mounting machine is so easy to use, nearly anyone can create a professionally mounted print in a little as just a couple of minutes.
ā First, set the gap between the rollers to match the thickness of your board. Place your board between the rollers and close the gap by turning the height control knob until there is no light between the board and the rollers. Then close the rollers one more half-turn. Each time you switch a board thickness, re-set this gap so it matches your particular board.
ā” Make sure your print is clear of dust and debris on both the front and back of the print.
⢠Peel back about 1 inch of the adhesive liner from your mounting board, and place down print, smoothing it out over the exposed adhesive.
⣠Insert the attached edge into the Polar Cub and remove the remainder of the adhesive liner while lifting your print and smoothing it against the rollers.
⤠Now turn the hand crank to pull the board through the machine, applying even pressure to your print and board, creating a bubble-free and professional finish. Now you can trim the edges, if desired.
The Polar Cub manual mounting machine creates mounted prints of pristine quality, smooth from edge to edge without bubbles, creases, or other blemishes. Buy the Polar Cub mounting machine online today and start producing professional-quality mounted prints efficiently and easily.
