Filters

Purify the air in your home or office with our best-in-class replacement filters, compatible with various air purifiers from the most well-known brands. These filters are available in several options, including carbon, true HEPA, and pre-filters. Which option you need will depend entirely on the air purifier you already own and the associated compatibility. But there are a few major differences in these filters that you should know about.

Carbon Filters

A carbon filter is the most common type of filtration used in households and offices. They are incredibly efficient at removing odors and larger allergens from the air. Pollutants such as pollen, cigarette smoke, fungi, dust mites, pet dander, and more. Essentially, a carbon filter is a baseline for proper air filtration.

True HEPA Filters

A True HEPA filter is a bit different, as it can eliminate must smaller particles from the air, which can include viruses and bacteria. HEPA filters and air purifiers are used in retirement communities, nursing homes, hospitals, nurseries, daycare, and other medical facilities where the population may be at higher risk for illness. Bringing a HEPA filtration system into your home or office can remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles down to as small as 0.3 microns in size.

Pre-Filters

A pre-filter is pretty much what it sounds like; a filter for your filters. Typically in a pair, these surround your carbon and HEPA filters and trap the largest particles before they are trapped by the primary filters. What's the point of a pre-filter? It protects your more expensive carbon and HEPA filters, allowing you to replace them less often. Pre-filters are also often washable several times, extending the lifetime of your main filters longer.
