Saddle Stitching is one of the simplest and most widely used methods of binding. Folded booklets are placed over a "saddle" and then stitching wire is stapled along the spine. Books bound with stitching wire lay relatively flat and accommodate special inserts such as business reply envelopes, membership forms, order forms, etc.
We sells only the highest quality nylon stitching wire! Don't be fooled into buying stitching wire from overseas, where quality is drastically decreased. Aside from an unattractive bind, low quality stitching wire can cause machine malfunction, costing you hundreds of dollars in repairs and replacements. All of our stitching wire spools are manufactured in the USA and are CPSIA lead compliant. These spools are 5 lbs and made with 25 gauge round nylon coated wire on a plastic spool. One of our 5 pound nylon wire spools will yield approximately 50,000 stitches.
Our high impact PET coating is made for optimal appearance and protection against corrosion that resists chipping or peeling during the staple forming process. We have drawn on our wire knowledge and insights into the aspects of colors as well as practical advice on how to select, coordinate and communicate colors for a maximum impact and effectiveness.
