Plastic grommets are available with three different hole sizes. A #1 grommet, which has a 5/16" hole, a #3 grommet, which has a 1/2" hole, or a #4 grommet, which has a 5/8" hole. The grommet and hole size you choose will depend on what you are using them for. For example, a small swatch book what needs a secured hole to place a chain or string through for hanging may only need a #1 grommet, whereas a banner or sign that is heavier may do better with a larger #4 grommet. These plastic grommets also come in three popular colors: black, white, and clear. Clear grommets are perfect for blending in well with signs that have full color print all the way to all edges. They are less obtrusive to the graphic, providing less distraction from the message. These high quality plastic grommets are one-step, self-piercing grommets, which means that they will cut the hole and set into your material in just 1 step with your Mano hand press and corresponding size Mano die. This one step process makes grommeting fast and simple, and works well with a variety of plastic, PVC, and laminated materials.

Number one grommets require no washer, whereas number three and four grommets are considered two-piece with a grommet and washer. The grommet is the side with the neck that goes through your material, and the washer is the side that attaches to that neck on the other side of your material. Each pack has 500 grommet sets.
