Description
Lawson is a quality brand for cutters, but when you use a worn-out blade, you compromise not only the integrity of the finished product, but you also put your staff, clients, and cutter at risk. A dull blade causes strain on a cutter, which wears out parts faster than they should wear out, which can lead to pre-mature replacement of wearable parts, or even unexpected damage to the machine that may require costly repairs. A dull blade is also more dangerous for staff to handle, and the extra effort required by them to make the machine cut with a dull blade can potentially cause injury. And lastly, and possibly the most expensive of all: if the quality of the cut materials that you give your paying clients is not up to their standards, you could damage your relationship with them, whoever they share the information with, and potentially, loose them as a client all together. Why put yourself or your company through all of this when replacement blades are so readily available and will solve the problem quickly, simply, and inexpensively?
These particular blades are manufactured for the Lawson Pacemaker II 2-BC-4016 guillotine cutter. They are Diamond Cut®, and made to not just meet manufacturer specs, but to actually exceed them in quality and blade life. Each blade is formed with a bi-metallic composition that combines strength, longevity, and economically-friendly pricing. They measure 63" x 5" x 0.495" and have 33 holes. Choose from two different bi-metallic materials:
① Standard Inlay Steel (INL) - Made of a 1:1 blend of standard grade steel and high alloy steel, which creates a strong blade that is also low-priced, making it extremely popular, especially as a back-up blade that customers keep on-hand for emergencies so production is never compromised.
② High Speed Steel (HSS) - Made of a 1:1 blend of standard grade steel and high speed steel. The high speed steel also contains durable German tungsten, which offers unique strength and blade-life, allowing them to last an average of 3-5 years longer than other blades.
*Important Notice: At times, cutter manufacturers will change a machine, but keep the same model name and number. Because of this possibility, it is important to compare the specs on your current blade with the specs listed here to be sure they are an exact-match (allowing for the wear on your current blade). If they are not the same, or if you are not sure that these are the blades you need, please call us at (866)537-2244 and we can help find you the exact knife that you need for your cutter.
