This LED positioning pointer projects a double circle red guide, with the center dot showing you the precise center of your grommet. Here’s how to install the EyeleD LED Laser Pointer onto the new generation CSTEP-2 grommet press. This positioning tool is also compatible with the CS-TIDY-41 and 51 models, and the install instructions are the same.
Let’s start by assembling the unit. Line up the holes on the mounting bracket and LED pointer, attaching them first with the Phillips screw, and then with the wing nut. Now screw the pointer onto the machine using the allen screw, and tighten with your allen wrench.
NOTE: If your CSTEP-2 does not have a hole in the side as shown, then it is not a new generation model, and is not compatible with this pointer.
Now plug in the laser using either the portable battery pack or directly into an outlet. The position of the laser is adjustable.
Now you will want to run a test for accuracy.
