Scoring vs. Creasing: Scoring Machines are great for plain paper, or gloss paper, and are very popular in office environments for memos, and other documents with light ink coverage. Using a Scoring machine on paper with heavy fibers or texture, or heavy ink coverage may cause cracks. For these kinds of applications, we recommend using a Creasing Machine.

The Lassco W635 Score II, 25" Scoring Machine has interchangeable scoring and perfing (perforating) wheels. The Perforating Wheel contains 10 perfs per inch. The W635 Score II has an easily adjustable edge guide, and can handle stock as thick as cover stock. The 30" x 20" laminated particle board base of the Scoring Machine has suction cups, so you are ensured with a stable work surface.
