This durable pad press is easy to use and accommodates paper sizes as large as 18" wide and 22" long, and as many as 10,000 sheets at a time, making it ideal for extra big pads of paper, art and drawing paper pads, blueprint solutions, and more. Easy to use, you just stack your paper on the base, square against the back board, tighten the dual clamps, remove the back board and apply the padding glue. After the glue is dry, you can loosen the clamps and use other optional padding supplies to customize your pads of paper further. Description
The Lassco Wizer W175 Padding Press is a great addition to any print shop or other organizations wanting to make notepads easily and economically. Constructed of hardwood and cast iron steel, the W175 Press is rugged and dependable. This table-top unit is capable of padding stacks up to 18" wide and 22" high. The W175 is adjustable with a 10,000 sheet (20 lb. bond) capacity.
The simple design makes it easy for anyone to create professional business forms, carbonless forms, scratchpads and more in only a few steps. Place the paper stack(s) on the wooden table flush against the back board. Screw the clamp bar firmly on top of the stack(s) to hold them evenly in place. Turn the 360° swivel base until the back board is in front of you. Remove the back board to expose the binding edge. Spread the appropriate padding compound (glue) on the edge and wait for it to dry. Once dry to the touch, you can remove the stack(s) and if needed, use a padding knife to separate the stack(s) into multiple pads.
