For center stapling of 5‑1/2" x 8‑1/2" and 11" x 17" booklets that are being stapled first and then folded, we recommend adding on the optional Footswitch and Adjustable Backstop to align paper squarely so that the staples will always be on the crease when the paper is folded.

The Staplex® S-700-1NHL Long Reach Automatic Electric Stapler has the capability to staple up to 40 sheets (20# paper, or equivalent) automatically when work is inserted into the throat. Re-load the stapler in seconds with the quick, pop-out front loading mechanism. The S-700-1NHL is excellent for large sheets, display cards, calendars, and much more. With an adjustable depth of up to 9-1/4", you have more flexibility to get your items stapled exactly how you want them. The "Hi-Low" switch allows you to adjust stapling impact so you can get the perfect clinch for each job. Choose from three staple sizes available: 1/4" DS Staples, 9/32" Long Leg Staples, or RLD Thick Wire Long Leg Staples.
