Selecting a Paper Folder

If you are using a specialty or glossy paper, the rubber rollers can cause tracking or smudging of copier toner. For these applications, we recommend using an Air-Fed Paper Folder.


The Martin Yale P7400 RapidFold Desktop Paper Folder is an updated P7200 that features a jam detector, auto shut off, and an improved stacking design. It also has a manual feed slot bypass for folding up to 3 sheets at a time together, even with staples. It can handle up to legal size paper in 4 different standard labeled folds. The Martin Yale P7400 is very small and only weighs about 17 lbs., making it easy to set up, transport and use.

To operate the Martin Yale P7400, simply set the type of fold by moving the knobs that set the fold stops on the front and back removable plates. The standard stops are marked for the 4 types of folds, however, you can create custom folds as well. Place up to 50 sheets of paper in the feed tray, and turn the machine on. The sheets will be automatically grabbed, folded and collected in the improved bin quickly at a rate of approximately 66 sheets per minute. The Martin Yale P7400 RapidFold will automatically shut off when done, and detect a jam if one occurs.

The Martin Yale P7400 offers great value for price and fits perfectly in almost any office that has light folding requirements, up to around 300 or so sheets per session.
