Usage Tip: The OD4012 is a heavy duty punch made for professional use. We recommend only trained personnel use this machine.

Maintenance Tip: We recommend that you oil the punching pins on the OD4012 after every 8 hours of use. Once oiled, punch some scratch paper to remove any excess grease on the pins. Never punch more sheets that what is recommended. And don't forget to empty the waster tray. A full waste tray can cause back up into the machine, causing it to jam.

Binding Tip: Place your back cover on top of your front cover before inserting the wire-o element. After inserting and closing the wire, fully rotate the back cover around to the back of the book. This step hides the seam where the two edges of wire meet and gives the book a smooth, clean finish.

Did you know? The OD4012 accepts 18 different standard dies and 6 different special order dies. No matter what popular binding method, there is a die to fill your needs.

Powerful and versatile, the Rhin-O-Tuff Onyx OD4012 Electric Punch was designed with the "printer" in mind. This heavy duty punch is capable of punching paper for coil binding, plastic comb binding, Wire-O binding, and more. No other machine offers the versatility that a Rhin-O-Tuff can offer. With the "Quick Change Die" feature, switching between punching dies has never been easier. There are 9 standard punch patterns for the OD4012 available and several more available as special order. The OD4012 offers the same quality and durability as the larger Rhin-O-Tuff Equipment, however with its newly designed smaller table dimensions, (footprint) we can offer it at a lower cost. The 11" throat is perfect for organizations that primarily punch letter size and smaller documents. One free standard coil die is included with purchase.

It has been renamed to stand out because it has evolved into a more versatile machine. The HD8000 can be partnered with (and mounted on) all OD and HD series Rhin-O-Tuff models.
