L-Bar Shrink Wrap Machines

An L-Bar Shrink Wrap Machine is a type of shrink wrap system that uses an L shaped heated bar to seal shrink wrap film. Two total passes are typically required to seal all sides of film around a package.

The advantage of an L-bar Shrink Wrapper is the ability to move and manipulate the shrink film around a product with ease. L-bar Shrink Systems are also not limited to a tunnel height, unless a tunnel is being used to shrink the film. Most L-bar Shrink Wrap Systems use a heat gun to shrink the film.

Steps to use an L Bar Shrink Wrap Machine:

1) Turn the machine on and insert the product you will be packaging into the correct size of center fold shrink film.
2) Seal all sides of the film by lowering the L-Bar on top of the film.
3) Use the heat gun to shrink the film around the package to the desired shrinkage.
