1/2" W x 12" L Hot Glue Sticks are perfect for use in many of our Glue Guns. They make hot-melt glue easy to apply for a wide range of crafts and hobbies, as well as packaging, labeling and assembly applications. At room temperature, hot melt glue sticks are in solid form and as they are applied to a surface through a hot-melt glue gun they turn into molten form. When cooled to a temperature below its melting point, hot melt glue results in a strong bond that is built to last. In fact, hot glue is as permanent as epoxy glue and it is suitable in applications where epoxy is not. Consequently, it is important to note that hot melt adhesives should not be used to glue something that you may want to remove later on.
Additionally, due to their heat sensitive nature, hot melt adhesives are generally not suitable for use in high-temperature environments or with heat-sensitive substrates. But as with any adhesive, there is usually one that will outperform another in a given application. Hot melt glue sticks used in adhesive application equipment generate minimal waste and have relatively small environmental impact, making this method of adhesive application ideal for many customers.
Hot Glue Sticks are compatible with any hot-melt Glue Gun accepting 1/2" diameter sticks: Shop Glue Guns Here.
