Saddle Stitching is one of the simplest and most widely used methods of binding. Folded booklets are placed over a "saddle" and then stitching wire is stapled along the spine. Books bound with stitching wire lay relatively flat and accommodate special inserts such as business reply envelopes, membership forms, order forms, etc. Galvanized stitching wire yields about 708.7 feet per pound, so a 5 lb spool will yield approximately 3543.5 feet.
Binding101 sells only the highest quality stitching wire! Our stitching wire spools are made in the USA and the are CPSIA lead compliant.
