Spiral Binding Coil Inserting and Crimping is the finishing portion of Spiral Binding. It is the process where the coil supplies are wound into the holes on the document, and then cut and crimped on the edges to secure the bind. Coil Inserting and Crimping Machines are available from low volume personal models, to high production heavy duty coil inserting and crimping machines. Not sure which Spiral Binding machine is right for you? Contact us, we would be happy to help you select the perfect unit for your specific needs.
A continuous plastic spiraled coil spins through a series of closely spaced holes along the binding edge of your paper. Pages bound with Spiral Binding can turn 360° so that your books will lay flat, (or they can lay front to back) for easier reading and writing. The durability and flexibility of the plastic, which will help your book maintain its original shape, makes it ideal for books that will be handled regularly. With a wide range of color options available, including custom colors, finding a coil to match your book is no problem. The wide range of thicknesses allow for a book to be as small as 5 sheets to as large as 290 sheets.
