Why Creasing instead of Scoring? Traditional rotary scoring machines use circular blades that are in constant motion as the stock passes through them. This creates a plowing action that actually cuts through the top fibers of the paper or card in order to create a score. This inevitably weakens the paper and encourages cracking. In contrast, the AutoCreaser Pro 33 employs a unique creasing rule and matrix as illustrated overleaf, that eliminates tearing and, therefore, cracking.

The AutoCreaser Pro 33 by Standard Morgana is an updated version of the popular AutoCreaser 33. The most significant update is the addition of the electronics package with a new touch-screen controller for easier use and set-up. Simply enter your job specifications and the AutoCreaser Pro 33 will automatically contour to the specifications and begin production. The AutoCreaser Pro 33 provides the complete solution to the problem of cracking paper that occurs when folding digitally printed output. It is equally effective in dealing with conventionally printed card stock, laminates or cross-grained stock.

The productivity of the AutoCreaser Pro 33 has been improved with a massive 50% increase in speed with no loss of accuracy. Now running at 8,500 A4 sheets per hour, and an astonishing 11,000 A5 sheets per hour, the AutoCreaser 33 Pro is our most productive creasing machine to date. The AutoCreaser Pro 33 has the new PosiFeed feeding system. The drum stops as the vacuum pulls the sheet down before the drum begins to feed. This significant change will enable the feeder to be piled higher and feed even difficult stocks.

All settings and adjustments are made using the new 7" SmartScreen using easy-to-read and understand symbols. An alphanumeric memory allows an unlimited number of jobs to be stored and named as you choose. This makes job recall much easier as you can use your own job name and numbers for storage. Any changes to the suction drum, feed method, crease position and engineering settings are all made through the SmartScreen which has been developed and designed to make the AutoCreaser Pro 33 the easiest machine to operate while offering levels of sophistication never before seen at this price point.

Unique Design: The AutoCreaser Pro 33 features a unique channel scoring action that provides an ideal finish on substrates that are easily damaged using other methods. This is especially true when using rotary scoring which often results in cracking of the stock and damage to the printed image.

Programming Function: Utilizing a simple programming function, the AutoCreaser Pro 33 can place up to 16 scores on a single sheet. The minimum distance between scores is 0.15" (4mm) and it is possible to make micro adjustments to 0.1mm. For often-repeated jobs, the AutoCreaser 33 can store an unlimited number of programs, each capable of up to 16 scores.

Superior Channel Scoring: The heavy-duty scoring blade and opposing channel are mechanically controlled over their entire length so that equal pressure is applied to the material and no damage or marking occurs. The operating action is also reversible for inverse scoring.

Precision Engineered: The side-lay alignment and suction chamber, which is built into the feed-table, ensures that every sheet is accurately timed and registered for precision scoring.
